Hi, I’m David! I’m a Miami native and former corporate event DJ.
I started Live for the Party in 2024 after a career in advertising, product management, and television. My goal was to market my event services to customers using a hassle-free booking process and upfront pricing. It wasn’t long before I realized other event professionals needed a better way to reach new customers too, so we restructured in 2025. We still provide event services directly, but we’re expanding to partner with other exceptional event professionals in South Florida.
Party people
If you’re throwing a party or hosting an event, we gather free quotes from multiple event professionals. We do the legwork to save you time and energy. You only pay if you decide to proceed with the booking.
Party professionals
If you’re an event professional, we attract and qualify leads to connect you with real customers. There is no charge for leads and we manage the booking, so you can focus on what you do best -- entertaining.
Pricing: It’s free -- really!
Currently, there is no charge for our services, but tips are welcome. In the future, we’ll require a reasonable fee from customers at the time of final booking. Customers will continue to receive free quotes from a list of vetted professionals and event professionals will continue to receive new business at no charge. The pricing structure for customers will be fair and upfront, to support the cost of doing business plus reasonable profit.
Everyone benefits from a successful event, so we do our best to facilitate a smooth customer experience for all. We’re still growing and learning, so I hope you’ll provide us with some grace.
